Ip Man Wing Chun Movie
It has been an awesome but hectic start to 2009. One highlight is the launch of the Ip Man movie released in Hong Kong in December 2008. Donnie Yen plays Ip Man with Sammo Hung doing the fight coreography. I expect that the producer, Wilson Yip, is going to focus more on entertainment than historical accuracy but I am sure that it is going to be fun to watch and its high time that Wing Chun makes it big on screen given that its the most popular style of Kung Fu globally.

As far as I know it is not out in the USA yet. If you want to buy the DVD, you can try YesAsia. I got myself the double disk version.

After watching IP Man recently, and I also got hold of IP Man 2 last week and watched that. Cannot wait for IP Man 3!
I don’t think they could’ve chosen a better actor to play the role of Yip Kai Man.
