Kungfu Schools Across South Africa
We frequently get asked by our website visitors for kungfu schools in Johannesburg, Durban, Pretoria and various other cities across South Africa; even Hermanus. Unfortunately we are only in the Western Cape area and cannot provide training in other areas at the moment.
So we decide to give you the opportunity to tell us about your kungfu school in South Africa. What we will need is the name of the school, area, contact person, contact number and anything else you would like to tell us. Everything can be posted in the comment section for other readers to find.
The only requirement is that the school teaches traditional kungfu.

Hi I am interested in doing wingchun, are there any schools in Gauteng? I stay near Norwood, regards Eric
Nov 17th, 2008 at 10:32 am
@Eric. There are plenty of kung fu schools in JHB: Chinese Martial Arts and Health Centre in Parkmore (if I recall correctly); Dean Jones is a skilled and dedicated practitioner (used to be in Edenvale); and other individuals with seemingly impressive credentials. There is even the SA Shaolin Temple, but I’m not sure if they offer wing chun.
Google will find them. Most important is to go and see a class, watch the instructor and his attitude to their students. Kung fu should be a lifestyle choice, as such, it should be a good lifestyle.
Train hard.
